After starring for the Wake Forest Demon Deacons, Teague was selected as the 19th overall pick by the Atlanta Hawks in the 2009 NBA Draft. He has spent all of his profesional career in Atlanta.
Teague earned his first All-Star selection for the Eastern Conference in the 2015 NBA All-Star Game. That season, he led the Hawks to a first place finish in the East, and secured the best record of the franchise’s history.
After six years as an Atlanta Hawks player, and briefly passing through the Indiana Pacers, Teague joined the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2017, being considered one of the most solid and valued point guards of the last decade.
One of the best guard in the NBA decided to come back home signing again for the Atlanta Hawks in the last transfer market where he is currently a key piece of the franchise.
