Florin began playing professional football at Vinaròs CF and CD Castellón, after which he was called up to play in the Villarreal Junior Division. In 2013, he continues his career in Atlético Baleares, of Second Division B.
Córdoba Club de Fútbol takes him in, where he plays both in the first team and in the Córdoba B team. Florin is greatly supported by Córdoba fans, who admire his personality and skills. In 2012, he finally makes his debut in the first division and also with the Romanian national team.
After making a name for himself, he starts playing for the First Team of Deportivo de la Coruña and is named Best Player of LaLiga in January 2017 due to his outstanding game.
In the 2018/2019 season Florin decides to sign with Brighton FC and try himself in one of the best leagues in Europe, the Premier League. A year after Galatasaray showed his interest in the Romanian striker and called him up to its roster on loan.
