After a brilliant debut with Atlas and then playing in his first World Cup in 2006, Andrés Guardado arrived in Europe with You First Sports and signed with Deportivo de la Coruña.
He signs with Valencia, showing that he could have an important role in the best soccer league in the world after performing very well for five years in Spain and winning the 2011 Gold Cup with Mexico.
His arrival to Dutch soccer confirmed him as of the best soccer players in the Netherlands. He won the Eredivisie and was selected as the most valuable player of the competition as well as during the Gold Cup with the Mexican national team.
Since 2017, Guardado wears Betis’ white and green t-shirt and has won three CONCACAF Gold Cups with the Mexican National Team.
